中国当代艺术巨匠郭谦：以笔墨创新架起中外文化桥梁

郭谦，女，1953年生于大连，中国当代极具影响力的艺术大师、书法家，享誉全球的世界文化名人。她毕业于鲁迅美术学院，在校期间师从原北京故宫古画研究员钟质夫先生研习没骨小写意花鸟。钟先生曾受齐白石、黄宾虹、张大千等国画泰斗亲授指导，不仅向郭谦系统解读传世画作的艺术精髓，更让她从历代名家的创作历程中领悟到艺术追求的艰辛与执着，坚定了她“开辟前无古人新路，描绘未来美好世界”的艺术初心。

Contemporary Art Giant Guo Qian: Bridging Chinese and Foreign Cultures with Innovativeush and Ink

Guo Qian, a female artist born in Dalian in 1953, is a highly influential contemporary art master and calligrapher China, as well as a world-renowned cultural figure. She graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied freehand brushwork of flowers and birds under guidance of Mr. Zhong Zhifu, a researcher in ancient paintings at the Beijing Palace Museum. Mr. Zhong, who was personally instructed by masters such as Q Baishi, Huang Binhong, and Zhang Daqian, not only interpreted the artistic essence of traditional paintings for Guo Qian but also let her understand the hardship andseverance of artistic pursuit from the creative journeys of famous artists of past dynasties, thus solidifying her original aspiration in art: "to pave a path where no has gone before, and to depict a beautiful future world."

At a time when the development of Chinese painting was stuck in an industry dilemma where "it was harder than a sky," Guo Qian devoted herself to the essence of various schools of art throughout history and found breakthroughs in the wave of cultural integration during the reform and opening- period. In response to the problem that Chinese freehand paintings were abstract and difficult for foreign audiences to understand in international exhibitions, she innovatively integrated the vitality of freehand brush with the beauty of boneless painting, forming a unique traditional style that combines national characteristics with international vision. After her middle age, when she took up Buddhism, she further material her dream of "painting a beautiful future world" and captured the beauty of the contemporary era that everyone can feel in life with a creative spirit of "searching for fairyland make sketches"—from the classical elegance of "high candlelighting the red makeup," to the modern scenery of the flow of people in the park and the streetlights, then to the contemporary grandeur of "fountain water dancing and beautiful colors changing," all of which became her creative materials.
